The University of Phoenix has named Barbara Janowski to be the new Campus Director at the school's Santa Teresa and El Paso Learning Centers, an appointment that became effective March 1st.

A resident of El Paso for 25years, Janowski has previously held a number of positions with the university. The new campus director has served as the Director for Financial Practices as well as the Finance Director of the Santa Teresa campus.

In addition to her positions at the University of Phoenix, Janowski worked as an auditor for the El Paso Energy Corporation and for Security Capital Group Incorporated.

Since 1991, Janowski has been an active community member, serving on various non-profit boards.

Also a one time faculty member in Finance and Management at the school, Janowski earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Organizational Management at the Santa Teresa campus in 2001.
