Kaplan University has added a new leadership specialization to its online Master of Science in Higher Education (MSHE) program offerings. The new specialization is designed to prepare students to work in management-level positions at the post secondary level.
The masters program specialization will carry the designation of College Administration and Leadership. The new leadership strand involves 50 credit hours of advanced study and will take about 18 months to complete.
In addition to the leadership strand in education, the University launched a new online Master's of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) degree program. The MSIT is also designed with a leadership focus and seeks to help IT specialists further their technology skills while developing greater levels of business insight.
With an increased business focus on security, students in the online Master's of Science in Information Technology program can opt to specialize in either Information Security and Assurance or Decision Support Systems. The new IT program is also designed to be completed in just 18 months.
