Posted by: Thomas Hanson on December 4, 2007 9:36 PM

Baker College, the largest independent college in the state of Michigan, has received the Professional Science Masters (PSM) designation for its graduate studies' Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program. The designation was provided by the Council of Graduate Schools and awarded to the Baker College Center for Graduate Studies.

The Professional Science Master of Science in Information Systems degree is a specialized two-year graduate degree program that focuses on the pursuit of advanced training in science at the same time as enhancing business skills. As with all Baker College programs, the new degree in Information Systems has been designed with input from industry leaders to ensure that graduates of the program have the knowledge and skills to be successful in the workplace.

Baker College currently offers degrees in three areas: business, occupational therapy, and information systems. More information about the MSIS program at Baker College is available online at www.baker.edu/graduate.
