Posted by: Thomas Hanson on November 10, 2007 8:43 AM

Berkeley College has announced approval to offer its two most popular programs completely online. Beginning in January of 2008, the school will offer its Associate and its Bachelor level Fashion Marketing & Management programs entirely online.

The program is uniquely designed to combine the business of fashion with career preparation and placement in the field. A key focus on the online option is to make coursework available for those who are already busy working in the fashion industry.

Among the required courses for a degree are Introduction to the Fashion Business, Computer Applications for the Fashion Industry, Merchandise Planning and Buying, Fashion Forecasting, Home Merchandising, and Product Lifecycle Planning. Students will be able to enroll in the programs from any location in the world.

Berkley College has been a leader in business education for the better part of 75 years. The school currently enrolls more 6,000 students in its various programs.

Nearly 600 of those students are international.
