Bank of America has announced the appointment of Milton Santiago, Jr. as the company's Portal and eChannels executive within the Global Product Solutions division of the company. Santiago had served as an executive at LaSalle for 20 years.
The 39-year-old certified webmaster earned his bachelor's degree in computer information from DeVry University. Santiago previously served as the senior vice president of Electronic Banking Solutions for LaSalle and ABN Amro North America.
The new Portal Strategy executive will report to Cindy Murray, a 23-year LaSalle Bank veteran, who was named the head of Product Innovation and Development for Global Product Solutions.
Murray, 52, previously held the position of executive vice president and head of LaSalle Bank Corporation's North America Transaction Banking division.
When Bank of America purchased LaSalle and its subsidiaries on October 1, 2007, it became the largest bank by deposits in the Chicago market.
